Alexis Fierens is IP partner at DLA Piper Belgium.

Alexis was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2005 and joined DLA Piper in 2010, where he practices in all main fields of IP law, with a special focus on soft IP, know-how protection, advertising and distribution law, handling both advisory (including transactional) and contentious matters for Belgian and multinational companies. Alexis’ clients are mainly active in the sectors of retail & consumer goods, technology, media, sport & entertainment. Alexis assists his clients with the establishment, protection, strategy, exploitation and enforcement of their IP portfolio. His clients include The Walt Disney Company, Bacardi, Kinepolis, Lotus Bakeries, Atos, Bancontact Payconiq, Ravensburger, Juntoo (Overstock), X²O, the Flemish government, delaware, Takeda, BASF, Q8, Sumitomo, Fresenius Kabi and DPG Media.

Alexis is a member of the ECTA Data and WIPO-Link Committees, the Benelux Association for Trade Mark and Design Law (BMM), the Belgian Copyright Association (BVA-ABA) and INTA, and regularly publishes legal articles and blogs and speaks at seminars on various IP topics.
